| Hida-Takayama-Tensho-ji YH Hostel - http://www.jyh.or.jp/english/toukai/hidataka/ This town, Takayama, is called “little Kyoto” which has long history and culture. The Miya River flows through the town. East part of the river is an old castle town and many temples are situated on the hill and the YH is in the center of the town. Morning market at the banks of the river is within 10 minutes walk. Many visiting spots are around the YH. Takayama festival is held in April and October.
