| Embassie Independent Hostel - http://www.embassie.com/ The Embassie Hostel is a beautiful terrace house built in 1820 in the unspoilt Georgian square used in the filming of "In the Name of the Father". You will notice a flagpole on the front of the house because, until 1986,this was the home of the Consulate of Venezuela - and that is why it is called the "Embassie". The location is ideal for travellers to Liverpool. It is located in a lovely residential area, directly across the street from Falkner Square Park ( you saw it in the film!) and just a 10 minute walk to the city centre of Liverpool and all the wonderful history, music, museums and nightlife this exciting city offers. - Read more |
| Epsteins Guest House - http://www.brianepsteinguesthouse.com/ Bedroom 3 of this house (over-looking) the garden was Brian’s favourite room. Isaac trusted young Brian to be the manager of NEMS Record Shop (the best outside of London) which was visited on a daily basis by the fab four and every other “Mersey-Beater” of that special era in the history of Liverpool. Epstein House and Gardens has just been fully re-furbished, aiming for four 4 stars. The rooms are nicely furnished, generously proportioned and En-Suite. The food is served so that you will want to come back to Epstein House. On the ground floor the entrance hall leads into the lounge with comfortable seating and dining facilities. The bar is fully licensed. The French doors lead directly onto the patio and huge garden. - Read more |
