The hostel is located in an international ski resort, only 10 min from the train station and the Felsenbad (rock spa) with its thermal and mineral springs. The Euro Youth Hotel and Krone in Bad Gastein opened it's doors for the first time in December 2002. The Hotel Krone has catered to visitors to the beautiful Spa Town and ski resort of Bad Gastein since the 1880's. In 2002 the current owners took over the 3 star hotel with the fantastic location and have since worked tirelessly to create one of the most luxurious hostels in Europe. Indeed even those who arrive expecting the 3 star hotel experience tend to leave very postively surprised. All the rooms have their own bathroom with wc plus shower or bathtub. In all of the private rooms there is also a tv and much more importantly a balcony with beautiful mountain views. All of the private rooms have been renovated in the last couple of years, and a new keycard security system has been installed. For even more security there is cctv watching all hallways.
